Another part of Believe is sharing the gospel with skaters in Cornwall. Throughout 2005 we spent most sundays hanging out with skaters in Falmouth. As they got to know us and we built up a relationship with them, they got to know us and we could share with them our experience of walking with God
SKATE COMPS
In 2005 and 2006 we held skate events at Emmanuel Baptist church in Falmouth. Loads of skaters turned up, many of whom were the skaters we had spent many weeks getting to know. We organised a best trick comp, and at the end shared the gospel with them.
YES CAMPS
In 2005 and 2006 we went along to the YES Camps in Plumpton, near Brighton. There we promoted and sold the clothing and shared with the young people the work we had been doing with the skaters in Falmouth. It was a great time for us to share with them how God was using us for his work and we were so blessed by everyone there.
